Somehow Julia Glas has managed to shrink a huge wall painting of people on the beach down to a miniature painting on a fountain pen. Hello Summer! is the astonishing result. She has taken a unique perspective of people on the beach, viewing them from directly above. It is a delightful way of celebrating the anticipation of summer. There is a person walking a dog on the beach … or rather trying to convince the dog to go in one direction whereas the pooch intends heading the opposite way; people lying under umbrellas with just their legs sticking out; someone floating in the waves; two children with a bucket, spade and beach ball; colourful towels; bright umbrellas; a boogie board, and more!

We have added a blue section to match the blue umbrellas, as well as a silver section ring, cap band and logo medallion in the cap finial.
