Dragon’s Den painted fountain pen

Kseniia Nel is besotted with dragons. These two in their Dragon’s Den are Asian dragons and therefore have no wings, and do not breathe fire. They have typical nose tendrils (useful as most Chinese dragons were associated with water spirits and therefore needed feelers to sense prey), and fearsome teeth. Also interesting is that her dragons have four claws as only the Emperor was allowed to have dragons with five claws and the punishment for transgressing this rule was the death sentence!

Kseniia’s magnificent green dragons are painted against a lustrous gold-copper-bronze background that shimmers as it catches the light. We have paired it with an orange section, our logo medallion in bronze, and a bronze cap band and bronze section ring.

Kseniia has painted our pens in a wide variety of styles and  is happy to consider requests for commissions, so if you would like to suggest a particular theme, please let us know via the contact form.

Each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art. No-one else will ever own an identical pen.
