Swans hand-painted fountain pen

Swans have appeared in so many legends and art forms, from The Swan Princess, to Swan Lake, The Ugly Duckling, Leda and the Swan from Greek Mythology, and The Wild Swans by Hans Christian Andersen. Hanlie drew and doodled three swans on this pen, simply because they are beautiful and she loves swans.
The pen was made by us at Stanford Pen Studio, painted and doodled by Hanna then coated in a clear resin by ourselves and given its final shape, polished, and buffed. It has a silver section ring, cap band, and silver logo medallion in the cap finial. Lana has mixed a special turquoise material for the section, which matches some of the highlights in the artwork.
Each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art. If you have seen a pen painted by Hanna that has been sold, you are more than welcome to contact us with a request for a pen on a similar theme, or to request a custom pen in a unique theme of your own.
Nib:
Available in Jowo #6 in polished steel. Please select Fine, Medium or Broad at the check-out. If you are willing to have Di try her hand at grinding a “Skinny Architect” (which starts off as a broad nib, and is modded so that it is skinny on the downstroke with a slightly thicker line variation on the cross stroke, yet smooth enough for day-to-day writing), then please select this during checkout.
The Jabulani model
SPECIFICATIONS
This is a gently curvaceous model, with a girth of 16 mm (0,6”), narrowing to a 10,7 mm (0,4”) grip section. The relatively large size of the model is to allow the artist sufficient space for their artwork, and the artwork is encased in a layer of clear resin to protect it from getting damaged during day-to-day use. Our logo medallion is embedded in the cap finial which is ever-so-slightly rounded, and the barrel finial is ever-so-slightly conical. The cap is a flush-fit and does not post. The Jabulani model usually comes with a hand-made, cap band and section ring in either Argentium silver or bronze, though this may differ depending on what best suits the artwork. Custom hand-crafted roll stops can be added.

We supply our pens with a Jowo #6 nib, alternatively the section can be made to fit a Bock #6 if requested.
