Yulia Glas painted a fountain pen called It’s Raining Cats, and this is the matching pen, It’s Raining Dogs. I love how she has managed to paint each of her dogs, not just as a recognisable breed, but also with a lovable personality. Can you recognise your pooch here? There’s the delightful spaniel, the friendly Lassie, the beautiful poodle, the fun-loving Lab, a gorgeously groomed Schnauzer, an alert German shepherd, a goofy mongrel and the on-guard Doberman, oh man, looks so intimidating! I’ll bet you can find your canine companion(s) amongst these characters. I’m sure I found our two here; one is a fluffy white pavement special and the other an Africanis, which in her case is a fancy Latin name for a lurcher x greyhound x sheepdog x Irish wolfhound x deerhound x mongrel.
This fountain pen could be bought individually, or together with its companion It’s Raining Cats pen.
Lana has mixed a bright yellow for the section material and Dave has included a bronze cap band, section ring and logo medallion embedded in the cap finial.

The Jabulani model
SPECIFICATIONS
This is a gently curvaceous model, with a girth of 16 mm (0,6”), narrowing to a 10,7 mm (0,4”) grip section. The relatively large size of the model is to allow the artist sufficient space for their artwork, and the artwork is encased in a layer of clear resin to protect it from getting damaged during day-to-day use. Our logo medallion is embedded in the cap finial which is ever-so-slightly rounded, and the barrel finial is ever-so-slightly conical. The cap is a flush-fit and does not post. The Jabulani model usually comes with a hand-made, cap band and section ring in either Argentium silver or bronze, though this may differ depending on what best suits the artwork. Custom hand-crafted roll stops can be added.

We supply our pens with a Jowo #6 nib, alternatively the section can be made to fit a Bock #6 if requested.
