[Sold] Jewel Bugs hand-painted fountain pen

Inspired by the enthusiastic reaction she got to Beetlemania, Yulia Glas has painted another bling bug fountain pen, this time called Jewel Bugs. Also on a black background, she has painted a ’70s psychedelic Bvlgari dragonfly with different patterns on every wing, a Boucheron-type caterpillar in emerald and gold, a butterfly that brings to mind a Tiffany lamp on steroids, a golden moth with Cartier wings, and even a cricket that would be welcome to set up home in any jewellery box. And the lady bug is also a Love Bug, with hearts on her wings.
The grip section is in a shiny black with a bit of shimmer and we have added a silver section ring, cap band and our logo medallion embedded in the cap finial.
Each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art. No-one else will ever own an identical pen, however if you would like to request a custom pen from Yulia that has a similar theme, you are welcome to contact us via the contact form on our website.

The Jabulani model
SPECIFICATIONS
This is a gently curvaceous model, with a girth of 16 mm (0,6”), narrowing to a 10,7 mm (0,4”) grip section. The relatively large size of the model is to allow the artist sufficient space for their artwork, and the artwork is encased in a layer of clear resin to protect it from getting damaged during day-to-day use. Our logo medallion is embedded in the cap finial which is ever-so-slightly rounded, and the barrel finial is ever-so-slightly conical. The cap is a flush-fit and does not post. The Jabulani model usually comes with a hand-made, cap band and section ring in either Argentium silver or bronze, though this may differ depending on what best suits the artwork. Custom hand-crafted roll stops can be added.

We supply our pens with a Jowo #6 nib, alternatively the section can be made to fit a Bock #6 if requested.
