We make unique fountain pens

Mosaic Rainbow hand-painted fountain pen

Rainbows have so many happy associations for us. We love the warm, inclusive, welcoming, diverse nature of the fountain pen community and although Yulia Glas’s Mosaic Rainbow painted pen was not originally intended this way, we are proud to see it as a symbol of our support for the LGBTQ+ community. When Yulia was describing this pen, she said that everyone loves rainbows and she has never met a person who does not love them. Hence she wrote the words happy, joy, warm, hope, health and love on the base of the barrel (in ant-size writing!). And we have another emotional bond with rainbows: when South Africa held our first ever democratic elections in 1994, Archbishop Desmond Tutu coined the term, the Rainbow Nation, to describe the new non-racist, non-sexist vibe in our country. Although we sometimes struggle to live up to that vision, and we may be a bit fractured, but we do hold together. Just like a mosaic. What lovely symbolism and what a gorgeously beautiful pen!

We happen to have added a special gift with this pen: not just one but three interchangeable grip sections, in red, green and mellow yellow.
