Have you ever dreamed of riding a dragon? Of a ferocious, fire-breathing, steampunk dragon allowing you to put a bridle on it and even kiss its snout? Ever since seeing the film, How to Train Your Dragon, I have wished it were possible! Hanna Farmer is not restricted by reality. Her imagination allows her to do all these things, and to share her fantasies with us. This pen, with The Dragon Whisperer and her dragon friends, is a way to live in that magical land where dragons fly free under a sickle moon and maidens wearing full flouncy skirts ride at breakneck speed through the sky.
The pen was made by us at Stanford Pen Studio, painted and doodled by Hanna then coated in a clear resin by ourselves and given its final shape, polished, and buffed. It has a silver cap band, section ring, and logo medallion in the cap finial, and we have added a light blue grip section in a custom colour created by Lana that she has aptly named Water’s Edge.
Each of our hand-painted fountain pens is a 1/1 original work of art. If you have seen a pen painted by Hanna that has been sold, you are more than welcome to contact us with a request for a pen on a similar theme, or to request a custom pen in a unique theme of your own.

The Jabulani model
SPECIFICATIONS
This is a gently curvaceous model, with a girth of 16 mm (0,6”), narrowing to a 10,7 mm (0,4”) grip section. The relatively large size of the model is to allow the artist sufficient space for their artwork, and the artwork is encased in a layer of clear resin to protect it from getting damaged during day-to-day use. Our logo medallion is embedded in the cap finial which is ever-so-slightly rounded, and the barrel finial is ever-so-slightly conical. The cap is a flush-fit and does not post. The Jabulani model usually comes with a hand-made, cap band and section ring in either Argentium silver or bronze, though this may differ depending on what best suits the artwork. Custom hand-crafted roll stops can be added.

We supply our pens with a Jowo #6 nib, alternatively the section can be made to fit a Bock #6 if requested.
